Common questions
Isn't OneDrive already a backup?
No. OneDrive syncs files, so if a file is deleted, encrypted by ransomware or overwritten, the change syncs everywhere. Microsoft's recycle bin and version history only go back a limited time. A separate backup keeps independent copies.
How long does it take to recover?
Single files or mailboxes are usually restored within minutes. Full server recovery depends on the size and setup, and we agree a realistic target with you up front.
